This was an especially busy week for all of us as deadlines
were falling near.
My postcard design |
For Tuesday the 5th we had to produce our own
individual postcards for the end of year exhibition and by the end of the week,
we were expected to have produced most of our final pieces.
Anthony had made all of the website functional through the interactive
PDF and all files linked (after the creation of a couple of maps by April and
two letters by me). I was pretty satisfied with the outcomes as it kept its simplicity
and design but it’s clinical, orderly themes started to properly emerge. The
website turned out near enough exactly how I imagined it.
The rest of the work would be to continue creating the case
study files and to make sure it all came together.
April purchased a couple of case-study type file holders
from a stationary shop and Lawrence began slicing pages down to size. We had to
make sure everything aligned properly, make sure it looked pretty authentic and
of course, make sure that it was of course designed nicely.
Agusia’s illustrated evidence cards looked perfectly in
place with everything else in the folder and April had also finished creating
leaflets for both Deirdre and Nefertiti and
Lawrence was working on creating
working QR codes.
During this week I feel we all came out of our comfort zones
to create something nicely presentable and authentic, and in the end it paid
off. I was really satisfied with the first of the final products and how everything
was coming together.
The final week now can just be spent polishing off all of
the case file documents and adding a few more files to the document such as
maps and letters.
